When you sign up as a partner with Feather, we’ll provide you with unique affiliate links for all of our products. You will be able to find these links in the Products section on your personalized affiliate dashboard. You can access this dashboard after signing in at https://affiliates.feather-insurance.com Each sign-up you drive will be recorded and visualized in real-time in your dashboard.
Your affiliate links are unique. If a customer uses your affiliate link to visit the Feather website and decides to buy the referred policy or one of our other insurance products, this referral will be registered in your live lead stream on your affiliate dashboard. Once certain conditions are met (See Billing and Payout for more information), the commission for this referral will be paid out to you.
However if a referral does not use your unique affiliate link, the referral will not be attributed to you and you may not be eligible to earn commission on that policy. Please be sure to share your unique affiliate links with your referrals so that we can accurately track sign ups, and so that you do not lose out on commissions.
In your affiliate dashboard, you’ll see two options: Copy the link and Pre-fill for customer.
Copy the link is for when you just want to share your general affiliate link - maybe in a newsletter, on your website, or if you haven’t spoken to the customer yet. If you’re sitting with the customer and going through the signup together, you should also use Copy the link.
Pre-fill for customer is for when you’ve already had a conversation with the customer, and you’ve collected some of their details - like their name and, most importantly, their email address.
